At first I didn’t think it would happen, as she was a bit standoffish and a bit skeptical of me, but thanks to some leftover fries, she changed her mind.
The drive back was a bit nerve racking, as you can see by the shifter placement.

Pitbull?
Congrats, sorry you had to go through losing a pet.

Hey, Scout. Congrats to both of you!

And thanks!

Well done mate.
She deserves a happier life after what she’s been through to then be abandoned.
Poor girl, but she’s got a new life now.
I hope your happy together.

Awesome!

This is good news.
Makes me feel happy about everything.
Good call, man.

You’re doing the right thing. We inherited a dog that had spent time on the streets and got her firmware programmed to appreciate few things as much as a hot dog bun or old chicken nuggets. She’s got 3/4 of a one-track mind. Great dog, though. Scout will be like, “Okay, you’re my human now.”

It was a rough month up until this point, and while she doesn’t replace my old dog, she puts the month from one of the worst I’ve ever had to only slightly bad.

She’s been roughing it for the past few days, but now she is automatically clingy. She does need a bath, but I think I’m just gonna get the vet to do that. What is money, after all?

She just needs to meet the family, which is going to be interesting. I wouldn’t say she was aggressive when I first approached her, but she was defensive.

It’s to be expected really.
She’s had her world drop out from under her feet.
Once she know’s she’s in a loving space with people who care, she’ll be more comfortable.

Yeah, pretty sure she was abused as well, so it comes with that. There aren’t bad Pit’s, there are bad owners.

Hah, mines a “border collie mix”

Omgggggg so cute

I’ve noticed that adoption agencies tend either go with that or “hound mix”, so that’s what I’ll stick with... I mean, she’s a full on pit, but we will go with it.

She doesn’t seem to think you need 3rd or 5th.

Poor girl.
So true.
Some people are just oxygen thieves.

At first it was 2, 4, and 6, so this was an improvement.

I currently commute 1.5 hours each way on top of a 8 hour work day. It just wouldn’t be fair to a

There are certain breeds of dog that are super low maintenance.

Yeah, like a Bichon or something. Dog cats essentially.
We’ll see!

While they are quite large, Mastiffs are super lazy.
